What counts as an email?
Each accepted recipient message counts once. Batch requests count per message, and inbound mail you receive is not billed as a send.
What happens if I go over my plan?
Paid plans keep sending and bill overage per 1,000 emails at your tier rate. The rate declines as you move up Scale tiers.
Can I start without a credit card?
You can create an account and self-test to your own email without a card. Free production sending to other recipients requires a payment method on file — we do not charge until you upgrade. The card gate helps prevent abuse. Free is capped at 3,000 emails/mo and 100/day.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from the dashboard billing page. Stripe handles checkout, invoices, and the customer portal.
Do cheaper plans lose features?
No. Inbound, webhooks, templates, automations, SMTP, every language SDK, the CLI, and MCP are on every plan. Tiers change volume, domains, and infrastructure isolation.
How does Dedicated pricing work?
Dedicated starts at $299/mo and is scoped on a demo, because capacity depends on volume, isolation needs, and how many servers you need.
